A cool little village landscape painting by listed Brooklyn artist, George Seidman (1898-1973). Seidman regularly painted and exhibited at Washington Square Park and had studios in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. He is listed in Davenport's and other artist directories and has a number of auction sales. This piece depicts an incredible sunset landscape scene of a lake in front of a mountain range. The painting is oil on artist board. It is framed in a rustic wood frame. It isn't signed or stamped, but I purchased this with two other paintings by the same artist, one of which was signed and stamped. The painting appears to be in very good condition. One small spot of discoloration as pictured. Frame shows some wear. Please see the photos. Painting store measures approximately 5 inches wide x 5 inches high. Frame measures approximately 8.5 inches wide x 8.5 inches high.
