This piece has been shown to many fossil enthusiasts, of which the majority agree the material is from a woolly mammoth molar. This piece is of Indonesian origin and may be connected to the Dayak headhunting tribe. Pendant bezel is handmade. Chain metal has not been tested to check for precious metal as it appears to be base metal. Overall in very good condition. Did notice one place on the chain where the links could probably be tweaked and reconnected in the original pattern (see photos) though it's still intact and wearable store as is.
